Bristol Law School has a full-time academic staff of more than eighty lecturers and professors which includes an enviable collection of young, dynamic staff producing original scholarship. All our staff take considerable pride in their teaching and being approachable to their students.

Our staff members are prolific scholars. Many author the leading text books in their fields. Our lecturers and professors frequently publish in leading law journals and are the authors of some cutting edge scholarship in a range of legal fields. Our staff regularly contribute to legal conferences across the globe.

Many members of the academic staff have practised with some of the top national and international law firms. Several faculty members have studied or taught in other countries and draw upon their overseas experience in providing courses and writing. Members of the department are also regular commentators on legal developments in the media.
